As the role will be office based some days then you must live around the Leicester area.

About the Role

International Lift Equipment Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join our team in Leicester. This hybrid role offers flexibility with part-time hours, allowing you to work remotely while occasionally collaborating on-site. You will play a vital role in analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to optimise lift installation and maintenance projects, driving operational efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsiblities:

  • Analyse and interpret business data to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain data models for lift installation and maintenance projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve decision-making and operational processes.
  • Create dashboards and visualisations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to communicate findings.
  • Present statistical insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support strategic planning with data-driven analyses and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Essential Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analytics and data modeling.
    • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
    • Ability to interpret complex statistical data and convey insights effectively.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of the lift industry or maintenance sector is a significant advantage.
